NOT ANOTHER BOMB CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW

Driving towards peace and justice, Not Another Bomb creates another opportunity for us to continue to stand together to demand an immediate ceasefire and a lasting embargo on weapons to end the violence in Gaza and ensure human rights for all.

CONTEXT

Since October, a movement against the military onslaught in Gaza and in support of Palestinian human rights has coalesced around a unifying popular demand supported by an overwhelming majority of Americans “ceasefire now.”

Behind that demand are: the 730,000 of us who voted “uncommitted” in the 2024 Democratic primaries, countless protesters who’ve taken the streets, more than 70 U.S. cities, dozens of members of Congress, cultural institutions, faith leaders, and 153 countries among the United Nations.

Yet, the U.S. continues to be the largest supplier of weapons and military funding to Israel and innocent Palestininans continue to be massacred by a military escalation that has taken over 30,000 lives since October.

THEORY OF CHANGE

We know that in order to achieve a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, the U.S. must stop arming Israel’s war and occupation against Palestinians. As the bombing continues to escalate, Uncommitted launched a campaign to elevate the popular demand: “not another bomb” that led up to the general election. It was our movement’s big opportunity in 2024 to assert our leverage to shift Democratic Party policy on Gaza.

With the general elections being over and violence continuing to escalate across the region, and now into Lebanon, we believe sustained pressure is necessary. Not Another Bomb commits to continuing to hold the Democratic Party accountable to upholding U.S. and International Law and to using our collective power to pressure this administration and the next to move towards policy that centers peace and move away from war as the answer.

  • Popularize the demand for an immediate weapons embargo to Israel as a necessary step toward delivering a ceasefire

  • Unify a big tent coalition behind our demand in order to show the breadth of our power

  • Reshape the Democratic Party's status quo policy of arming and financing Israel's bombing of Gaza and aggression in West Bank and Lebanon

  • Build relationships across sectors to grow the capacity and power needed in the anti-war movement ecosystem long-term

OUR GOALS

our movement.

a 6X winning structure.

The Uncommitted Movement has been a transformative force, reshaping U.S. political discourse and policy on Palestine and Israel.
Our collective efforts have led to remarkable outcomes, including:

MICHIGAN

A historic win in Michigan, where we outreached to more than a million voters and received 101,000+ uncommitted votes in the Democratic presidential primary, sending shock waves through the Democratic Party and nation.

MINNESOTA

A stunning performance in Minnesota, with 19% voting uncommitted in the Democratic primary, sending 11 uncommitted delegates to the Democratic National Convention.

HAWAII

An unprecedented showcasing in Hawaii, where uncommitted received 29% of the votes and 7 delegates in the state’s caucuses.

WASHINGTON

In Washington, about 14x as many people voted uncommitted in the state’s Democratic presidential primary this year as in 2020, sending a clear message that even in the bluest parts of the country, voters reject Biden’s Gaza policy.

MISSOURI

An impressive performance in Missouri, where the share of the electorate that voted uncommitted in the state’s Democratic primary this year was 31x larger than in 2020, sending Biden a strong message to change course on Gaza now.

WISCONSIN

A triumph in Wisconsin, where the uninstructed vote in the primary was more than DOUBLE Biden’s margin of victory over Trump in the state in 2020. Wisconsin voters sent a strong message to Biden: stop funding Netanyahu’s war crimes. If Biden refuses, he risks losing the key swing state to Trump.
